Spheres and Circles….

One of the pieces that was part of my exhibition on Thursday, was a graphite drawing of a sphere. It had been discussed apparently, that did such a simple form warrant a place in the exhibition? The reasoning behind why i included this piece was my utter attraction to to the simplicity of the form itself, just the fact the form holds no harshness, no complicated corners and tends not to shout from the roof tops “Look at me”. It just has a visual quietness about it that is an invitation for a closer look.
